NCP to Contest Gadchiroli Elections Independently, Says Atram
Imagine a team of politicians called the NCP.
One of their leaders, Dharmrao Baba Atram, has said they're not going to team up with their usual friends in the upcoming local elections in a place called Gadchiroli.
He said this because he wasn't happy with how things have been going, like not getting a job he wanted.
He mentioned that his friends even supported his opponents in the past.
Also, his daughter and nephew competed against him in the previous election.
Now, the NCP is planning to go it alone and try to win the elections by themselves.
NCP leader Dharmrao Baba Atram announced the party will independently contest Gadchiroli local body elections.
The announcement was made at an NCP regional conclave in Nagpur.
Atram cited discontent within the Mahayuti alliance and past issues as reasons for the decision.
Atram was denied a cabinet berth and previously lost the guardian minister position.
Atram's daughter and nephew contested against him in the last assembly elections.
