Delhi High Court Upholds Government's Decision on Sonam Wangchuk
The Delhi High Court said the government's decision to move Sonam Wangchuk to a different hospital was not unfair.
They did this because his health was getting worse, and it followed the court's earlier instructions.
The court also said that no one forced Wangchuk to go to the hospital.
He was on a hunger strike for 21 days before this happened.
Delhi High Court ruled that the government's decision to shift Sonam Wangchuk was not arbitrary.
The decision was made due to Wangchuk's deteriorating medical condition and compliance with a previous court order.
The court stated that every life is precious and found no evidence of force being used against Wangchuk.
Wangchuk was taken to Safdarjung Hospital by the Delhi Police on the 21st day of his hunger strike.
The court's decision was made on July 19.
