Chennai Hosts Mega Camp for Defence Pensioners to Submit Digital Life Certificates

Imagine retired soldiers need to prove they are still alive to keep getting their pension money each month.

Usually, they have to go somewhere and show a paper.

Now, the government is making it easier with a new phone app and special camps.

In Chennai, there's a big event at the Air Force Auditorium where retired soldiers can get help to use their phones or other digital ways to send this proof, called a 'Life Certificate'.

This is part of a bigger plan called 'Digital India' to make things easier for everyone.

They can even use a face scan to prove who they are!

Special help is available for older or disabled pensioners too.
