Cordelia Cruises Unveils Second Ship With Mumbai Drone Spectacle
Cordelia Cruises has added a second ship, called Cordelia Sky.
The company celebrated with a show featuring 1,500 drones in the sky above Mumbai.
The new ship will give the company room for more guests across its two ships.
Cordelia Sky is scheduled to start sailing from Mumbai on October 23.
Its trips are planned to include places such as Goa and Lakshadweep, as well as Southeast Asia.
Another ship, Cordelia Empress, is scheduled to start sailing from Kochi on October 25.
The company says these sailings could help local tourism and businesses.
It also plans to add a third ship, Cordelia Sun, in 2027.
Cordelia Cruises celebrated the arrival of its second ship, Cordelia Sky, with a 1,500-drone show above Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
The company says the new ship will raise its combined capacity to 1,798 staterooms and about 3,596 guests at double occupancy.
Cordelia Sky is scheduled to begin commercial operations from Mumbai on October 23, with domestic and Southeast Asian itineraries planned.
Cordelia Empress is scheduled to begin commercial sailings from its new Kochi homeport on October 25.
Cordelia Cruises says it has welcomed more than 800,000 guests since beginning operations in 2021 and plans to add Cordelia Sun in 2027.
