Assam AJP Demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s Removal, President’s Intervention

The Assam Jatiya Parishad wants Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar removed.

The party also wants an independent investigation into his work and decisions.

AJP leader Jagadish Bhuyan said Kumar did not appear neutral enough.

He accused Kumar of acting like a Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson.

The party said the other Election Commissioners may not have been given enough importance.

It asked the President of India to intervene.

The AJP also questioned whether earlier election results, including Assam Assembly results, truly reflected voters’ choices.

These are allegations made by the AJP, and the article does not include a response from Kumar or the Election Commission.
