Delhi HC Grants Interim Protection to Akasa Air
The Delhi High Court has temporarily stopped some people and companies from pretending to be Akasa Air and tricking job seekers.
These people were using fake names like 'Akasha' and 'Akaasa' to make it seem like they were part of Akasa Air.
They were asking for money for fake jobs.
The court said this is not right and could hurt Akasa Air and the people looking for jobs.
So, the court told these people to stop using Akasa Air's name and asked companies like GoDaddy and the government to help block their fake websites and phone numbers.
The court will decide more about this on May 22, 2026.
Delhi High Court granted interim protection to Akasa Air against recruitment scams.
Defendants were impersonating Akasa Air and demanding 'process fees' for fake job offers.
Court restrained defendants from using Akasa Air's trademarks or deceptively similar marks.
Domain registrars, government agencies, and banks were directed to block infringing domains and accounts.
Next hearing scheduled for May 22, 2026.
