Ambulance Fails to Reach Odisha Village After Boy Drowns

A young boy in an Odisha village fell into a pond and drowned.

His family pulled him out of the water and called an ambulance.

The ambulance could not get to the village because a nearby bridge had been washed away.

The boy’s mother carried him part of the way.

Other people placed him on a cot and carried him toward the ambulance.

He was taken to a hospital.

Doctors said he had already died when he arrived.

The incident raised concerns about damaged roads and access to emergency medical care.
