Former CJI Dipak Misra Receives Kalinga Ratna Award
Former Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra received the Kalinga Ratna Award.
The ceremony took place in Kataka on Tuesday.
He was given a silver statue of Goddess Saraswati and a written citation.
Misra spoke about how a person’s birthplace helps shape their identity.
He also explained that fraternity means treating people with respect despite their differences.
He said one person’s dignity should not be protected by hurting someone else.
He added that wars may bring victory but often leave sadness and hatred behind.
The organization also honored writer Ramachandra Behera for his long contribution to Odia literature.
