Gold Rebounds Rs 3,400 After Six-Session Losing Streak

Gold became more expensive in New Delhi on Thursday.

Its price rose by Rs 3,400 for every 10 grams.

This ended six sessions in which gold prices had fallen.

The new price was Rs 1,59,500 per 10 grams.

This price included all taxes and applied to 99.9 per cent-purity gold.

Silver also became more expensive.

Its price increased by Rs 5,000 per kilogram to Rs 2,40,500.

The changes followed stronger prices in international markets.
