Former TMC MLA Amal Acharya Returns to Congress
A politician named Amal Acharya, who used to be a lawmaker for the Trinamul Congress party and more recently was with the BJP, has decided to join the Congress party again.
He felt sad because he wasn't given a chance to run for elections by the Trinamul party and nobody even spoke to him about it, even though he had worked hard for them for a long time.
He used to be a leader in his district and was elected as a lawmaker twice.
When he didn't get a ticket to run, he joined the BJP but wasn't very active.
Now, he's back with the Congress, the party where he started his political career.
Some leaders in the Congress think his return will make their party stronger in a part of the state called north Bengal and might encourage other unhappy politicians to come back too.
