BRS Leader Criticizes Revanth Reddy Over Projects
A senior leader from the BRS party, T. Harish Rao, said that the new Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, is taking credit for projects that were actually built by the previous government led by K. Chandrashekar Rao.
Harish Rao mentioned two big projects: the Chanaka-Korata barrage and the Sadarmat barrage.
He said that Revanth Reddy is not doing much work but is instead trying to get praise for things he didn't do.
Harish Rao also said that the current government has not done anything to help farmers, unlike the previous government which had started important work.
He accused Revanth Reddy of just doing shows and not real work.
Revanth Reddy, on the other hand, claimed that his government is focused on development and has inaugurated projects like the Sadarmat Barrage, which will help many farmers.
T. Harish Rao accused A. Revanth Reddy of taking credit for projects completed by the BRS government.
The Chanaka-Korata barrage was built by the BRS government with Rs 1,200 crore.
The Sadarmat barrage, costing Rs 500 crore, was completed by the BRS government but the Congress government has not stored any water in it.
Harish Rao claimed the BRS government acquired 1,600 acres for canal works, while the current government has not acquired any land in two years.
Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Sadarmat Barrage, which will provide irrigation water to 18,016 acres across Nirmal and Jagtial districts.
