Railway Staff Honoured During Seva Diwas Celebrations in Bengaluru

Railway workers in Bengaluru were honoured for doing their jobs well.

The ceremony was held on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

The day was called ‘Seva Diwas’, which means a day focused on service.

V. Somanna and P. C. Mohan lit a lamp called the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’.

More than 200 railway family members took part, and about 250 lamps were lit.

Somanna said railway workers serve society throughout the year.

He also spoke about railway station improvement projects in Bengaluru.

Two stations, Bengaluru Cantonment and Yesvantpur, are being redeveloped.
