PM Modi Meets Shinde, Shiv Sena MPs on Maharashtra Floods
Big leaders met in New Delhi to talk and plan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Eknath Shinde, a leader from Maharashtra.
They talked about big floods in Maharashtra and how to help people there.
Modi also met six other leaders who recently joined Shinde's team.
The leaders talked about how to make their areas better.
This happened before the government might change its team of ministers.
A court is also deciding who gets to keep the Shiv Sena party's name and symbol.
Shinde's group says all the partners are like one big family.
Some people think there could be big political changes in Maharashtra soon.
There are also rumours about something called 'Operation Tiger 3.0', but nobody has confirmed it officially.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in New Delhi on Friday and enquired about the flood situation in Maharashtra and ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts.
Modi also met six Shiv Sena MPs who recently joined the Shinde-led faction from Shiv Sena UBT, discussing development issues in their constituencies.
The meeting was Shinde's first interaction with the Prime Minister since student protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
Shiv Sena leaders said the meeting was held in Shinde's capacity as head of the NDA ally, which has 13 Lok Sabha MPs, and Modi assured the MPs that the NDA functions as 'one family'.
The meetings came ahead of an expected Union Cabinet reshuffle and the likely introduction of the Delimitation Bill, with opposition parties linking them to possible political realignments in Maharashtra and unconfirmed 'Operation Tiger 3.0' talk.
