House of the Dragon Season 3 Finale: Mad Queen Rising?
House of the Dragon is a TV show about a big family fighting over who gets to be the ruler.
In the last episode of season three, this fight becomes even scarier and more painful.
Queen Rhaenyra wants to be queen very badly, but the path to the throne has been full of problems for her.
Aegon finds his injured dragon Sunfyre again, and the two of them go looking for his brother Aemond.
Aemond almost died after his mother Alicent gave him poison, but a woman named Alys Rivers saved him.
A big battle happens at a place called Tumbleton, where Daemon fights Ormund Hightower.
Rhaenyra does some strange things, like dressing like a prince and saying she is the promised prince, so some viewers think she is becoming a scary 'mad queen.'
Sadly, Helaena, who loved her children and her chickens, chooses to end her life.
The show will end after one more season, so season four will be the last one.
Some viewers think the finale had strong moments, but they also say the episode felt rushed and not very exciting.
The Season 3 finale ends in tragedy at Tumbleton, escalating the brutal civil war between the Greens and the Blacks.
Queen Rhaenyra's fight for the throne becomes a personal battle against Ormund Hightower after Prince Daemon lets him walk free.
Aegon reunites with his half-burned dragon Sunfyre and heads to Harrenhal to find Aemond, who was saved by Alys Rivers after Alicent poisoned him.
Rhaenyra declares herself 'the prince that was promised' during her anointment, hinting at a 'mad queen' turn.
The show is confirmed to conclude with Season 4, but reviewers found the finale's pacing underwhelming with many unanswered questions.
