Former Uber CMO Leaves Rs 1 Crore Job for Farming
Former Uber CMO Gupta left a roughly Rs 1 crore annual job to live and work on a farm in Haryana.
She and her family bought degraded land in 2010 and moved gradually from Mumbai through Gurgaon and Panchkula.
Gupta said farming alone may not generate reliable income, so the farm now has eight revenue sources.
The family planned financially for years, building savings and investments before pursuing financial independence.
She advises professionals to test farm life alongside their jobs before giving up stable employment.
