Jharkhand Students Protest Over JPSC Exam Irregularities
Students in Ranchi, Jharkhand, are standing in a stadium to protest because they think some exam papers were leaked.
They want a big investigation by the CBI to find out if the exams were fair.
The students also want the chief minister, Hemant Soren, to step down.
The party that led a big protest in Delhi, the Cockroach Janta Party, says it supports the students.
The state government has started a smaller investigation, but the students say it isn’t enough.
Some politicians from the BJP also say the government should resign.
The protest has been going on for more than a week, and the students keep asking for a fair exam system.
Hundreds of students in Ranchi have staged a sit‑in since July 29 demanding a CBI probe into alleged JPSC and JSSC exam leaks.
The Cockroach Janta Party, led by Abhijeet Dipke, has publicly backed the protest and urged the government to listen.
Protesters call for the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and for cancellation of past exam results.
The state government has ordered a CID investigation, but students say it is inadequate and want an independent CBI inquiry.
BJP leaders, including Amar Kumar Bauri and Amit Malviya, criticize the government and demand Soren’s resignation.
