AJ Block Juniors Band Up for Puja Festivities
A group of ten friends, all younger than 16, decided to form a band to play music for their neighborhood's special festival, Durga Puja.
They practiced for two months, learning different instruments like keyboards, guitars, and drums.
During the festival, they performed songs for everyone to enjoy.
Some kids played many instruments, and others sang.
They were happy to try something new together and make music for the goddess and their community.
A new band called Ho Jo Bo Ro Lo, with 10 members under 16, performed at AJ Block.
The band formed two months prior to the event with the goal of creating a unique puja function presentation.
The children played a variety of instruments including keyboard, guitar, dhak, tabla, darbuka, and cajon.
Their performance featured songs such as 'Jaya jaya hey Mahisasuramardini', 'Shiv tandav stotra', and 'Ailo Uma barite'.
The young musicians received loud cheers and appreciation from the audience for their efforts.
