ED Files Complaint Against Ranjeet Automobiles for Money Laundering
Imagine a company that borrowed money from a bank to use for its business.
Instead of using the money for the business, the company sent the money to other companies they own.
They then used that money to buy property and pay off other loans.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) found out about this and filed a complaint, accusing the company of money laundering, which is like hiding money.
The company had borrowed a lot of money from Bank of Baroda and didn't use it properly, so the ED is taking action.
ED filed a Prosecution Complaint against Ranjeet Automobiles.
The complaint is under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
The Special Court took cognizance on September 26, 2025.
ED attached property worth Rs 27.30 crore.
