Marsons and Cleanhill Plan North American Transformer Joint Venture

Marsons and Cleanhill Plan North American Transformer Joint Venture

Marsons, a transformer maker from India, and Cleanhill Partners, an investment firm from New York, plan to work together.

They want to grow transformer sales, services, and manufacturing in North America.

The company says customers there can wait more than two years for transformers.

The partners hope to eventually make transformers in North America.

They say this could help meet needs from power grids, renewable energy, and data centres.

Marsons already has orders connected to major US renewable energy and utility projects.

Its factory can currently produce transformers with a combined capacity of 12,000 MVA each year.

Marsons plans to expand that capacity to 26,000 MVA.

The companies did not provide further details about the venture in the article.
