J&K Police Attaches Terror Accused's Property in Udhampur
In Jammu and Kashmir, the police have taken control of land belonging to a man named Mohd Shafiq because they believe he was involved in terrorist activities.
This land, which is about the size of a small house lot, is in a village called Kadwah.
The police used a law called the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act to do this.
This means Shafiq can't sell, rent, or give the land to anyone else.
He was arrested last year for having connections with terrorists.
The police's action is meant to stop anyone from using the property for illegal purposes.
J&K police attached immovable property of a terror accused in Udhampur.
The property, a 1.3 marla piece of land, is located in Kadwah village.
The attachment was carried out under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The accused, Mohd Shafiq, was arrested last year for links to terrorists.
