JLR Q3 Sales Drop Due to Cyber Attack and Jaguar Wind-Down
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) had a tough third quarter in 2025.
Their sales dropped a lot because of a computer hack and because they are stopping some older Jaguar car models.
They sold fewer cars in all the big places they sell to, like North America, Europe, China, and the UK.
The most popular cars they sold were the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender.
The company said it took them until mid-November to fix the problems from the hack.
They will share more details about their money situation in February 2026.
The stock of Tata Motors, which owns JLR, also went down by more than 3%.
JLR reported a 43.3% year-on-year decline in wholesale volumes for Q3 FY26, totaling 59,200 units.
Retail sales also dropped 25.1% year-on-year to 79,600 units.
All major markets experienced declines, with North America down 64.4% and Europe down 47.6%.
The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender models accounted for 74.3% of total wholesale volumes.
The cyber incident impacted production, with normal operations resuming only by mid-November.
