CBI finds serious lapses by Patiala police in attack on Army Colonel

A colonel in the Indian Army and his son were attacked by police officers in Patiala.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) found that the Patiala police did not handle the case properly.

They lost important video footage from a nearby restaurant and did not register a complaint right away.

The court has now asked the police officers involved to come for a trial.

The colonel and his son were eating at a restaurant when the police officers started arguing with them and then attacked them.

The police officers also damaged their car and left the scene.
