Orphaned Elephant Calf Priyanshi Begins New Life at Rescue
Priyanshi, a baby elephant, was taken care of by the forest department after she got separated from her mom.
She had fallen into a canal.
The forest staff took care of her like their own child.
They fed her and comforted her.
After a while, they had to move her to a special rescue center, where she could get even better care.
This was sad for the staff who loved her, but they knew it was best for Priyanshi to find a new family.
Priyanshi was moved from Boudh Range to a rescue center.
Forest staff had cared for her since September 13.
The calf was rescued from a canal.
Her mother rejected her after the rescue.
Staff grew attached to her during her stay.
