Sensex, Nifty Gain, Auto Stocks Lead
The Indian stock market, measured by the Sensex and Nifty, went up today, especially the car companies.
Some smaller companies in the market went down a little.
Experts said that the U.S. central bank kept its interest rates the same, but people are still worried about prices going up.
Oil prices also went up because of fighting in the Middle East.
Even with these worries, investors are buying stocks when prices dip.
One analyst said the market is moving sideways and could go up to 24,500 points, but if it falls below 24,200 it might lose momentum.
The car and software companies did well, while the small and mid‑size companies fell a bit.
The market is watching the U.S. and Middle East news closely.
Sensex and Nifty extended gains, led by auto stocks.
Nifty Midcap100 fell 0.35% and Nifty Smallcap100 dropped 0.56%.
Vinod Nair highlighted Fed rate decision, US bond yields, and oil volatility as key global headwinds.
Ponmudi R noted auto and IT sectors drove gains, while US‑Iran conflict and energy price pressure added uncertainty.
Rupak De said Nifty is range‑bound with support at 24,200 and potential rise to 24,500.
