Khaleda Zia in Extremely Critical Condition
Khaleda Zia, who is 80 years old and was the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, is very sick.
She was taken to the hospital on Sunday because she had a chest infection that made her heart and lungs not work well.
Her doctors say she is in a very serious condition.
She has other health problems too, like liver and kidney issues, diabetes, and arthritis.
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), which she leads, asked people to pray for her to get better.
She came back to Bangladesh from London on May 6 after getting medical treatment there.
Her son, Tarique Rahman, lives in London, and her other son, Arafat Rahman, passed away in 2025.
