Ex Machina Studios Launches with AI Focus
Three people who have worked in movies and TV have started a new company called Ex Machina Studios.
They want to make movies and TV shows using special computer programs called AI.
The company will use real actors and stories written by people, but the AI will help make things faster and cheaper.
The first two projects they are working on are a historical adventure movie called Cortés and a sci-fi TV show called Space Nation.
They showed some clips of these projects to people who buy movies and TV shows.
The company wants to make sure that the AI helps make better movies, not replace the people who make them.
Ex Machina Studios launched by Tom Ryan, Marco Weber, and Martin Weisz, focusing on AI-driven film and TV production.
The company aims to use ethical AI to reduce costs while maintaining human creativity and guild-aligned practices.
First projects include Cortés, a historical adventure film, and Space Nation, a sci-fi TV series.
Preview footage from both projects was presented at the 2025 American Film Market.
Ex Machina has partnered with Utopai Studios for technology and production, with K5 International handling worldwide sales.
