SRK's Support for Pujara's Career-Threatening Injury Revealed
A young cricketer named Cheteshwar Pujara got a very bad knee injury in 2010, right before he was supposed to play in a big cricket tournament.
This injury was so serious it could have ended his career before it even really started.
His wife shared that the owner of his team, Shah Rukh Khan, was amazing and stepped in to help.
Shah Rukh Khan promised that Pujara would get the best doctors and made sure all the travel arrangements, like passports and visas, were handled.
He even arranged for Pujara to have surgery in South Africa and offered to fly in his family and any doctors they wanted.
Thanks to this support, Pujara recovered, played his first Test match later that year, and had a long and successful international cricket career.
Cheteshwar Pujara suffered a career-threatening torn ACL injury in 2010 before playing a single game for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL.
His wife, Puja Pujara, revealed in her book that KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan played a pivotal role in securing top-tier medical care for Pujara.
Shah Rukh Khan assured Pujara's family that the cricketer had a great future and deserved the best possible treatment.
KKR managed all logistical aspects, including passports and visas, for Pujara's surgery and recovery in Cape Town, South Africa.
Pujara recovered from the injury and went on to have a distinguished international Test career, playing 103 matches for India.
