Shafali Verma nominated for ICC Player of the Month
Shafali Verma, a cricket player from India, has been nominated for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for November.
She did really well in the Women’s World Cup Final, scoring 87 runs and taking 2 important wickets.
Two other players, Thipatcha Putthawong from Thailand and Esha Oza from the UAE, are also nominated.
Thipatcha was the joint leading wicket-taker in a tournament called the ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy, and Esha showed her all-round skills by scoring runs and taking wickets.
All three players had great performances in November.
