Titan Brands Vetra Movements Across New Automatic Watch Range
Titan makes some of the mechanical movements used inside its watches.
It has given this movement family the new name Vetra.
The name is meant to show that Titan is not only selling watches but also developing watch technology.
Four new automatic watches use different Vetra movements.
They cost between Rs 47,995 and Rs 54,995.
Some show a second time zone, while others offer a large date display or a longer power reserve.
Titan makes about 100,000 of these movements each year, although it buys some special parts from overseas.
The company hopes Vetra might one day be used by other watch brands.

The watches use different versions of Titan’s 7A architecture and offer GMT, big-date, offset-seconds and extended power-reserve features.

Titan says Vetra could eventually power watches made by other international brands.
