Ed Sheeran Addresses Loop Tour Row After Acts Quit

Ed Sheeran is performing on his Loop Tour during a disagreement involving some opening acts.

Macklemore was removed after making a remark supporting Palestine.

The article says some opening acts then quit.

Sheeran said he did not want to disappoint fans who had made travel and concert plans.

He also said the touring crew and musicians needed the work.

Sheeran said he was appalled by the Israel-Palestine conflict and the suffering it has caused on both sides.

However, he usually avoids political statements at concerts.

He said this is partly because his audiences include young people and people from many different backgrounds.
