Trump: Gaza Ceasefire Holding, Israel Can Retaliate If Attacked
A peace agreement between Hamas and Israel, which was recently put in place, seems to be holding even after some fighting.
Israel said they bombed Gaza because Hamas broke the peace by attacking an Israeli soldier.
President Trump, who helped make the peace deal, said Israel has the right to defend itself and hit back when attacked.
He also mentioned that even though there were some clashes, the overall peace agreement is not in danger.
The Vice President of the US agreed, calling the fighting 'little skirmishes' and expecting the peace to continue.
However, Gaza's emergency services reported that at least nine people were killed in the Israeli attacks.
Israel launched airstrikes on Gaza on Monday, accusing Hamas of violating a US-brokered ceasefire.
