De Zerbi Backs Bentancur’s Character After Tottenham’s Late Draw

De Zerbi Backs Bentancur’s Character After Tottenham’s Late Draw

Tottenham played Manchester United and the match ended in a 1-1 tie.

Manchester United scored first through Bryan Mbeumo.

Tottenham’s Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off after an incident involving Luke Shaw.

That left Tottenham with fewer players.

But Tottenham kept trying to score.

Dominic Solanke headed in a goal in the 92nd minute.

After the game, manager Roberto De Zerbi said he kissed Bentancur in the dressing room.

He praised the idea of showing character, but said Bentancur’s reaction was not the right way to do that.
