Telangana Launches Land Resurvey in Five Villages
The government is re-surveying land in five villages in Telangana, where surveys haven't been updated since the Nizam's rule.
This is like giving old maps a fresh look!
They're using this as a test to see how it goes, with a month-long process to get things right.
They plan to hire and train surveyors to fix land record problems and register land.
New surveyors will receive a two-month training.
The aim is to make land records more accurate and make transactions smoother.
The government is conducting a resurvey in five villages on an experimental basis.
These villages haven't had land surveys since the Nizam's rule.
Gram Sabhas are underway to educate people on the resurvey.
The government aims to recruit approximately 5,000 surveyors.
