Two BRS MLCs arrested over alleged remarks against Telangana Speaker
Police arrested two lawmakers from the BRS in Hyderabad.
One of them was Tata Madhu, who was arrested at his home.
The other was Naveen Kumar Reddy, who was also taken into custody.
The case began after a complaint from the Telangana Assembly Speaker’s officer.
The complaint accused Madhu of using caste-related insults and obscene language against the Speaker.
Police registered a case under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
