Delhi HC restrains manufacturer from infringing Britannia’s ‘Little Hearts’ mark
The Delhi High Court has stopped a company called Shri Swastik Organics from using Britannia's 'Little Hearts' trademark and the shape of its biscuits.
The court said that both the name and the shape of the biscuits are too similar to Britannia's, and this could confuse customers.
Britannia, which owns the trademark, asked the court to stop the other company from selling these biscuits.
The court agreed and also told online shopping websites to remove these biscuits from their platforms.
The next hearing about this case is in May 2026.
Delhi High Court restrained Shri Swastik Organics from using Britannia’s ‘Little Hearts’ trademark and shape.
The court found a case of triple identity: identical marks, products, and consumer base.
Britannia, as the prior user and registered owner, was granted an interim injunction.
The court ordered an e-commerce platform to delist products with the infringing mark or shape.
The matter is listed for further hearing on May 21, 2026.
