Maharashtra Cabinet Grants Developed Plots To 198 Metro-Affected Farmers
The Maharashtra government is building a Metro train depot in Mogharpada, Thane.
Some farmers lost land because of this project.
The Cabinet decided that 198 of them should receive developed plots.
These plots will come with ownership rights.
The group includes 167 affected farmers and 31 encroaching farmers.
The plots will be based on existing 22.5% and 12.5% schemes.
