Ashwin Advocates Samson as India's T20I No.3

Sanju Samson, a cricket player from India, has been playing as an opener, but another player, Shubman Gill, has been preferred in that role.

This has made it hard for Samson to find a place in the team.

Recently, another Indian player, Ravichandran Ashwin, suggested that Samson should bat at the No.3 position instead.

Ashwin believes this position would suit Samson better, especially against spin bowlers.

Meanwhile, another player, Jitesh Sharma, is also competing for a spot in the team, particularly as a finisher.

The Indian team is preparing for the T20 World Cup, and they are likely to stick with the same squad until then.

Shubman Gill is also being considered as a potential future captain for India in the T20I format.
