BJP Candidates Demand Expulsion of Navneet Rana
Twenty-two BJP candidates who recently lost in the Amravati Municipal Corporation elections have written to the Maharashtra Chief Minister, asking for the expulsion of Navneet Rana.
They claim that Rana campaigned against the BJP candidates and supported her husband's party, the Yuva Swabhiman Party.
The BJP had won 25 seats in the recent elections, while the Yuva Swabhiman Party and Congress each won 15 seats.
The candidates believe that Rana's actions led to their defeat and could harm the BJP's presence in Amravati in the future.
The BJP had previously won 45 seats in the last election, while the Yuva Swabhiman Party had won 3.
22 BJP candidates demand expulsion of Navneet Rana for allegedly campaigning against the party.
Out of the 22 complainants, 2 won and 20 lost in the Amravati Municipal Corporation polls.
Navneet Rana allegedly dubbed BJP nominees as 'dummies' and promoted her husband's party candidates.
The BJP won 25 seats, while the Yuva Swabhiman Party and Congress each won 15 seats.
Candidates claim their defeat was due to Rana's actions, not opposition parties.
