Bharat Forge and Flying Whales Partner for Airship Development
Bharat Forge, an Indian company, and Flying Whales, a French-Canadian company, have teamed up to make big airships called LCA60T.
These airships can carry up to 60 tonnes of stuff and can take off and land vertically.
They don't need much ground equipment and use a mix of electricity and other power.
The airships will help with moving military supplies, big equipment, and can also be used for helping people in disasters.
This partnership makes India one of the few countries that can design, build, and use these big airships.
Bharat Forge and Flying Whales sign MoU to develop advanced airships for India's defence needs.
The LCA60T airship can carry up to 60 tonnes of cargo with vertical take-off and landing capabilities.
Airships require minimal ground infrastructure and operate with hybrid-electric propulsion.
Applications include defence logistics, transportation of oversized equipment, and humanitarian aid.
Partnership positions India as a leader in advanced airship technology.
