Judge Approves Release of Epstein Case Documents
A judge in New York has allowed the release of secret court documents from the cases of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who were involved in sex trafficking.
These documents were kept private before, but a new law called the Epstein Files Transparency Act now requires them to be made public.
Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
The judge made sure that the documents won't reveal any private information about the victims.
This decision comes after another judge in Florida allowed similar documents to be released.
President Donald Trump initially didn't support the law but later allowed it to pass.
A New York judge approved the release of grand jury materials from the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking operations.
The judge ensured that the release of documents would not compromise the privacy of victims.
A similar request was granted in Florida last week for the release of grand jury materials related to Epstein.
President Donald Trump initially opposed the transparency law but ultimately allowed it to pass.
