NSE Reports Millions of Cyberattacks, No Successful Breaches
The National Stock Exchange, or NSE, runs a large computer system for buying and selling investments.
On May 7, 2025, nearly 4 million cyberattacks targeted its computers.
The attacks happened while India’s Operation Sindoor was underway.
The attackers reportedly wanted to disturb the exchange’s morning opening session.
The NSE said its cybersecurity team stopped every attack.
