Konda Surekha Calls for Stronger Voting Rights Safeguards

The Congress party held a march in Warangal to speak up for people’s right to vote.

Former minister Konda Surekha said voting is a basic right protected by the Constitution.

She called for an investigation into claims that elections were not handled properly.

She also asked the country’s chief election official to resign.

Congress leaders criticized the arrest of Rahul Gandhi, saying democratic voices were being silenced.

Surekha asked people to work together to protect voting rights.

The party said it would keep campaigning for them.
