Mumbai man receives beard oil instead of iPhone

A man in Mumbai ordered an iPhone worth Rs 1.11 lakh from Flipkart but received a beard growth oil instead.

The Mumbai district consumer redressal commission ordered Flipkart and the seller to pay Rs 70,000 lakh in compensation.

The commission found that Flipkart and the seller had adopted unfair trade practices by not delivering the correct product and not addressing the consumer's complaints.

The commission's president and member noted that the consumer is entitled to a refund of the price paid for the iPhone along with reasonable interest.
