LF Protests Alleged Targeting of Bengali Migrant Workers in Kolkata
Imagine some people from West Bengal went to work in other states.
Some leaders say that these workers are being treated unfairly, like they are being punished for speaking Bengali or being forced out of the country.
To show they care, the Left Front organized a march in Kolkata.
They want the government to protect these workers and make sure they're treated fairly.
They also want the government to talk to the central government and the states where these problems are happening.
They even want a special meeting of the state's leaders to talk about this issue.
Left Front (LF) held a procession in Kolkata to protest alleged targeting of Bengali-speaking migrant workers.
Protestors alleged harassment of Bengali-speaking migrant workers in some states.
The procession started from Esplanade to Ramlila Park in central Kolkata.
LF leaders demanded the West Bengal government address the issue with the Centre and other states.
