Kothari Industrial eyes Kickers IP
Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd (KICL) from Chennai is talking to a French shoe company called Kickers.
They want to buy the rights to make Kickers shoes in India instead of China.
This way, KICL can sell Kickers shoes in many countries.
They already make shoes for Crocs and Adidas.
KICL is also working with a school in Italy to teach students how to design better shoes and clothes.
This will help India make and sell more creative products to Europe and other places.
Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd (KICL) is in talks with French footwear brand Kickers to acquire its Intellectual Property and manufacture Kickers shoes in India.
KICL aims to control the Kickers brand globally and shift production from China to India.
The company will supply Kickers shoes to India and several other countries, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Maldives.
KICL has previously been a contract manufacturer for Crocs and Adidas, with ongoing projects in Karur.
KICL has partnered with Italy’s Accademia IUAD to develop industry-aligned education and training programs in design, creativity, and innovation.
