TruAlt, Sumitomo Partner to Boost Biofuel Production in India
TruAlt Bioenergy from India is teaming up with Sumitomo Corporation from Japan to make cleaner fuels.
They plan to build factories that create gas from waste and other biofuels.
This partnership will begin by building these factories in two states in India.
It will also create jobs and help farmers.
This partnership aims to make India less reliant on other countries for energy and to help fight climate change.
Sumitomo will bring its knowledge of green technologies, while TruAlt provides the local experience.
Together, they'll work to create sustainable fuel options, like fuel for airplanes.
TruAlt Bioenergy and Sumitomo Corporation announced a strategic bioenergy partnership.
The partnership aims to boost biofuel production and advance decarbonization efforts.
The initial focus is on Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
A Joint Venture Company will be established, with TruAlt holding a majority stake.
