Russia Warns Europe, Backs China on Taiwan
Russia's Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, said that Russia does not support Taiwan becoming independent and considers it a part of China.
He also warned that Russia will respond devastatingly to any attack from Europe, stating that the EU's 'war party' is hindering peace efforts in Ukraine.
Lavrov made these remarks in an interview with the Russian news agency TASS.
He also mentioned that Russia appreciates President Trump's efforts for peace and will support China in any conflict over Taiwan, as per their treaty of mutual support.
Russia opposes Taiwan independence in any form and considers it an inseparable part of China.
