Komaram Bheem Project Needs Repairs for Full Capacity

Komaram Bheem Project Needs Repairs for Full Capacity

The Komaram Bheem Irrigation Project is very important for providing drinking water to people in Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad districts.

Right now, the project is not storing water to its full capacity because there are some cracks in the bund, and officials are worried about damage.

The Dam Safety Authority says the project should not store more than 6tmc of water, but irrigation officials think it can hold up to 5tmc.

The project was built to irrigate a lot of land, but some parts of the canal system are not finished yet.

If the project is repaired, it can store more rainwater and help solve the drinking water problems in the area.
