India’s 2026 BRICS Chairship Focuses on Four Pillars

India’s 2026 BRICS Chairship Focuses on Four Pillars

India is leading BRICS during 2026.

BRICS is a group of major developing and emerging economies.

India’s plan has four main ideas: resilience, innovation, cooperation and sustainability.

Resilience means helping countries prepare for problems such as health crises, climate hazards and supply disruptions.

Innovation includes using artificial intelligence, digital services and financial technology.

Cooperation means working more closely on trade, finance and international decision-making.

Sustainability focuses on climate protection, clean energy and green finance.

The group now has 11 full members and 10 partner countries.

India will host the next BRICS leaders’ meeting in New Delhi on September 12-13.
