Spain busts gang flying hashish helicopters from Morocco
Spanish police stopped a group that was using helicopters to bring hashish from Morocco to Spain.
They found one helicopter, a lot of hashish, some guns, and made six arrests.
The drugs were going to be sent to other countries in Europe.
This is unusual because drugs usually come by sea, not by air.
Police also found out about other groups using drones to bring drugs.
Spain is a big place for drugs to come into Europe because it's close to Morocco and has good ties with Latin America.
Spanish police thwarted a gang using helicopters to smuggle hashish from Morocco.
The helicopters could carry between 500 and 900 kilograms of drugs.
Police seized one helicopter, 657 kilograms of hashish, five firearms, cash, and vehicles.
Six arrests were made in raids across Malaga, Almeria, and Murcia.
The operation involved cooperation with Moroccan, Belgian, and Swedish law enforcement.
